Have you jumped on the dry shampoo train yet? If not, you really must. They are a great way to freshen up! Additionally, when you to shampoo less frequently, it helps to extend the life of your hair color and blowout. You can even use them on clean hair to add a little texture and volume.
Dry shampoos are generally available in powder or spray form and are applied at the scalp before being brushed through. If you want to get geeky, they work because they contain starches that absorb oils. The starch varies from product to product.
I'm thrilled that Paul Mitchell has just launched its new version called Dry Wash. It's part of the brand new Express Dry line along with Stay Strong Hairspray. I've been using Dry Wash for the past week or so and it works great and smells clean and fresh.
I was so excited for the dry shampoo, I almost ignored the hairspray. But I tried Stay Strong this morning and I LOVE IT. Not sure how they did it but it's really fantastic.
The good folks at Paul Mitchell have offered my readers the chance to win an Express Dry Stylist Kit including one full-size Dry Wash Express Dry Waterless Shampoo, one full-size Stay Strong Express Dry Strong Hold Hairspray, and one limited edition teasing brush. These products are so new, they aren't available for purchase on the website yet! Here I am playing with my set (and the Vine app) this morning:
