Have you noticed the new crop of facial moisturizers that claim to "blur" out imperfections? Yeah, me too. They are everywhere all of a sudden! Seems too good to be true, right?
Well, I went on vacation is Spring and very inconveniently forgot all of my toiletries. I could get by with my husbands face lotion but I had to pick up some eye cream (umm... and a toothbrush!) I ran to Walgreens and took a chance on L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Eye Smoother Eye Treatment. Lo and behold, it works really well. The eye cream goes on smooth and velvety and feels really nice on my skin. But... I don't have a ton of wrinkles or major imperfections around my eyes with the exception of under eye puffiness.
Lather that month, I got a sample of the face cream (L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother Finishing Cream) in a magazine. I gave it a test run and ran out to buy it that day. Unlike my eye area, my face is riddled with imperfections from age spots to fine lines. This moisturizer really works to soften the appearance of these flaws with a nice matte finish. The product is a little thick and fills in wrinkles without feeling heavy.
As you can see, the difference is subtle but it's there. It's a little pricey for the amount in the packaging but I've found it to be multi-purpose. It has an SPF of 30, which is fantastic for preventing more flaws to blur. Additionally, makeup goes on super smooth over this product, eliminating the need for makeup primer. I'm sold!
